She was born on 30 July 2001 in a middle-class Bengali family in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She started her career as a child artist in the Bengali film 100% Love Bengali in 2012. Elsa made her Odia film debut in Dipu The Dance Boy (2018) and made her Telugu debut in Krishana Rao Super Market in 2019. She recently works in the Telugu film Rudraveena (2022).
